Curated by Freya Chou, Brian Kuan Wood, and Reem Shadid, this edition of the internationally renowned biennial examines the relationship between individuals and the community at large following a global pandemic. Our visual identity assembles a bold typography, layering on a image collage background resembling the (small) world.

The bilingual guidebook design resonates with the intimate nature of the biennial in a portable pocket size, utilizing the visual identity’s typographic system to a complex yet rich publication.

Expanding through the digital world, we translated the visual identity into communication assets and a comprehensive biennial website and publication platform, Small World Journal.
